Sounds like the old integrated manufacturing concepts are re-emerging? It is refreshing to see an established manufacturing systems software company embracing these novel concepts and bringing them to market. It will be very interesting to see how this evolves in the market-place and how companies will leverage them. I think that it is commendable of Camstar to spearhead this initiative; I will certainly make sure to follow it with great interest.

That being said I think that one needs to ask why is this different, if at all, from the old integrated manufacturing concepts of the 80’s and 90’s? Why are they getting renewed interest and why does Camstar believe that they will be embraced in today’s manufacturing business environment?

Sincerely

Moshe

Thank you Moshe for your support and encouragement. We really feel that we are forging new ground with these concepts. Regarding your questions of why we at Camstar think that this time it will work. Here are a few of my thoughts on the topic.

The generation of people involved at the decision making level in companies within our customers and potential customer have all been educated around these principles. One of the main assumptions that we are making is that they already see the value in it.

Technology has come a long way since the 80’s and it is not longer a barrier. In fact at this point we feel that technology has come so far that it allows us to do much more than what we need.

We are tackling the integrated manufacturing “one bite at a time” our initial focus is integrated quality or as we call Closed Loop Quality Execution. The decision to start there is based on direct feedback from the market place where we found real world needs for the ability to manage manufacturing operations and quality management in an integral manner.

We also fully understand the risks and barriers but we hope that the value to our customers is clear enough that we will rapidly gain momentum. I look forward to update you about our progress.

Thanks

- Gilad
